Best Spring Photoshoot Locations in the Triad
In this blog post, you will see some of the best locations in the Triad for photoshoots. The Triad area of North Carolina consists of Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point, and surrounding areas. There are many farms, gardens, and parks in the area with beautiful spring blooms that make the perfect background for spring photos.
Millstone Creek Orchard

This mommy and me photoshoot was taken at Millstone Creek Orchard. It is in Ramseur, NC a little over 40 minutes drive southeast of Greensboro, NC. Millstone Creek's address is 506 Parks Crossroads Church Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316. They have the most beautiful peach blossom trees. The trees have pink flower blossoms on them. They bloom for just a few weeks in March. They gave us mini apple cider slushies with our admission. There was a surprise visit from the easter bunny too! Cost: $7/person (Kids 2 & Under: Free). Dewberry Farm
I took this child portrait at Dewberry Farm in Kernersville, NC. Dewberry Farm is a private residence that you can rent for small events. Dewberry Farm’s address is 2585 Dewberry Farm Ln. Kernersville, NC 27284. On special occasions, it is open to the public: Spring Tulips, Summer Sunflowers, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. Their you-pick tulip field is a really cute scene for all types of photography such as engagement, family, senior, and kids portrait sessions. The tulips were in bloom the last two weeks in March and the first week in April. In 2023, They charge $25 per hour for photography. The entrance price is $8 for adults and $5 for children. Dogwood Farm
Dogwood Farms is in Belews Creek, NC about 30 minutes North-West of Greensboro. The address for Dogwood Farms is 8096 Belews Creek Rd, Belews Creek, NC 27009. It has 13 acres of Wildflowers. Sunflower U-Pick Approximately July. Spring Cosmos, Poppies, Zinnias and other wildflowers. Dogwood Farm's wildflowers fields open in Late April-Early May and last for a few weeks. Admission tickets cost to Dogwood farms are $8 per person Monday-Friday Mornings 9-12. $10 Per Person Saturday + Sunday & Weekdays after 12. Children under 7 are free. 65 and older are $5. Veterans or active duty with Military ID are free. They charge $25 for photography per hour. You do not need to make a reservation.
Triad Park
Triad Park is county park in Forsyth County. Triad Park's address is 9652 West Market St. Kernersville, NC 27284. It has rows of white flower blossom trees along a few paths. These were in bloom in March. There are also some wide open grassy areas that would work well for photos.
Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC
There’s so much space at Tanglewood Park with all the different backdrops for portraits! The Rose Garden & Arboretum are stunning! There are playgrounds, golfing, horseback riding, a dog park, and much more at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC. It has it all! There is a $2 entrance fee per vehicle.
