I’m so excited to share this family session with you today! When Rachel booked mommy and me photos at Dogwoods Farms, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! She has a daughter just a few weeks younger than my daughter, so I have experience with 1.5-year-olds not interested in having their photos taken. haha
Dogwood Farms Mommy and Me Session
We did this session at Dogwood Farms in Belews Creek, NC. The address for Dogwood Farms is 8096 Belews Creek Rd, Belews Creek, NC 27009. The admission price for Dogwood Farms is $8 per person Monday-Friday Mornings 9-12. $10 Per Person Saturday + Sunday & Weekdays after 12. Children under 7 are free. 65 and older are $5. Veterans or active duty with Military ID are free. They charge $25 per hour for photographers. The weather was playing tricks on us and messing up my whole schedule. Haha Every time the clients and I would look it would say rain and change the time of the rain so we were moving around the sessions. Luckily not a raindrop, but it was full sun and HOT!
I met Rachel at an Art class at Greenhill in Greensboro, NC. She asked what I was doing this weekend. I told her I was doing photo shoots in Dogwood Farms Wildflowers. She had no idea I was a family photographer and I didn’t know she does event florals on the side. You need to go check out her floral arrangements they are GORGEOUS. Zara loved wandering through the flowers and seeing all the bees and ladybugs. Rachel’s mom was able to come with which was so sweet to capture baby Zara with not only her mom but her grandma. The next day was Mother’s Day so what a sweet gift Rachel will be able to give to her mom.
