What is a Mommy and Me Session? 


Mommy and me photo sessions are becoming very popular. Have you heard of Mommy and Me mini sessions and wondered, “what is a mommy and me mini session?” A mommy and me mini session is a short session that concentrates on the bond between a mom and her kid(s).  As moms we are often behind the camera, taking photos of our babies and there aren’t enough photos of us with our babies. Mommy and me sessions help get Mom in more of those photos. 


I especially love capturing moms with their young children where you can truly see the love they have for their mommy. A lot of my mommy and me sessions are with moms and their young kids, but there is no age limit! A mommy and me session is an especially perfect Birthday or Mother’s Day gift. I don’t know any mom that wouldn’t be thrilled to get photos with their child(ren) of any age! If possible bring Grandma or Great-Grandma! I have such few pictures of my grandparents with my children, but I absolutely cherish the few that I have. They are some of my favorite photos.
